
Agility & innovation – The name of the game
I am super proud of the COVER team for putting together another spectacular edition of COVER.
The golden thread through this edition is the clear proof that our industry is able to evolve, and fast, based on the needs of its clients and technological innovation.
Our main feature, “All things wheels”, showcases several amazing innovations, from Cross Country’s venture into “Adventure Lifestyle Coverage”, that even includes insuring hunting dogs, to Discovery’s vehicle value rating, and RTU’s continuous evolution to fit the changing public transport developments.
Our broker survey shows, amongst several other interesting developments, that brokers are responding to the digitisation drive and the need for a much more determined focus on risk management.
Cardinal’s well known tech whiz, Graham Harvey, unpacks the strategic integration technology in insurance, illustrating the agility of industry players to implement innovative solution.
Finally, advisors in the financial planning space are not to be left behind. One of the major changes in this area of our industry is the focus on behavioural finance and coaching, guiding clients to a healthier financial future.
