KNOWLEDGE SHARED
At COVER, we are all about sharing knowledge, which we have been doing successfully for 35 years. (Celebrations loading for early 2024).
In an industry loaded with subject matter experts, we are spoilt for choice, and I would like to thank every contributor for sharing their knowledge and helping us in our quest to grow skills in the industry. This year I interviewed more than 60 industry leaders, we brought you more than 600 other thought leadership pieces and added more than two dozen local and global industry reports to our research library. (Visit our Podcast channel for easy listening in traffic. You will never look back)
The future is digital and mobile – Reading has moved digital, but nobody wants to read a PDF on their mobile. COVER WebMag to the rescue! An innovative, first of a kind, online reading portal where you can read and share any editions of COVER, or any specific article, on your mobile. No more pinching to read or annoying pop-ups on websites while you read your magazine. Try it out, you will love it.
Skills Development – Our underlying strategy with sharing knowledge, is skills development. COVER Learning, our e-learning platform, has seen a brand overhaul, many new courses added, and research function enhanced. We now boast the most comprehensive, industry focused, e-learning platform on the African continent.
You can now meet ALL your CPD requirements in one place, have an easy-to-access record of all your CPD certificates and access more than 80 true e-learning courses, covering almost every aspect of the industry, at a ridiculously low price. Visit COVER Learning for more information.
Africa COVERed – In partnership with the IIWC (Insurance Institute of the Western Cape), we launched our African research initiative, annually facilitating exposure to the rest of the African insurance markets, for a small group of industry leaders. 2024 will see us visiting and researching various aspects of the Rwandan and Kenyan insurance markets, preparing a white paper, and sharing the knowledge gained in an online seminar. Contact us if you would like to join in the adventure and learning.
The only thing remaining for me to do is to thank all our knowledge sharers, readers, and sponsors for their support in 2023. Look out for a refreshed team, bringing you innovative new content in 2024. We wish you a fantastic festive season, celebrating life, faith and the multiple blessings bestowed upon us.
